From the North

1. Take the NYS Thruway (I-90) west from Albany to the I-81 interchange; or take I-81 south from Watertown, Syracuse, and points north.

2. From Syracuse, continue on I-81 south to exit 12 (NYS 281); stay in the left lane of the exit ramp and take the exit ramp to the very end (do not exit the ramp from the right- lane turnoff for Homer) and turn left onto NYS 281 south.

3. Continue on NYS 281 south (it will become NYS 13 south).

4. Continue on NYS 13 South through Dryden (NYS 13 makes a right-hand turn at the last traffic light in town).

5. Approximately 6 miles west of Dryden take a left onto NYS 366 west.

6. Continue 3.5 miles on NYS 366, through the town of Varna.

7. Follow 366 to Judd Falls Rd. Turn right on Judd Falls Rd and continue on Judd Falls Rd. until the end.

8. Turn left onto Forest Home Rd. and continue for .5 miles.

9. The Forest Home Garage will be on your left. You will see on your immediate left 4 parking spots reserved for HEHS parking. Park in any of these spots.

10. To right of the HEHS parking spots you will find a set of elevators. Take one of these elevators to the “T” Level.

11. Exit the elevator to the left and follow the hallway until you reach the MVR Commons (a large open space with scattered furniture).

12. Cross through the Commons and exit this area through the doorway to the left of the wall of televisions. You will now be in the West wing of MVR Hall.

13. Take the elevator to your right (just beyond the stairs) to the 2nd Floor. This elevator will bring you into the HMRU.

From the South

1. Take NYS 17 east to Elmira; continue on NYS 17 to the interchange with NYS 13 in Horseheads.

2. Turn right onto the ramp for NYS 13 north to Ithaca.

3. In Ithaca, turn right onto Green Street (NYS 79) and go about 7 blocks. Stay to the right as Green Street intersects with East State Street; continue up the hill on East State Street.

4. At the stop light near the top of the hill, stay in the right lane and continue up the hill (the left lane turns left).

5. At the intersection with NYS 366, turn left onto NYS 366 toward Cornell University.

6. Continue on NYS 366 until you reach Judd Falls Rd.

7. Turn left on Judd Falls Rd. and continue on Judd Falls Rd. until the end.

8. Turn left onto Forest Home Rd. and continue for .5 miles.

9. The Forest Home Garage will be on your left. You will see on your immediate left 4 parking spots reserved for HEHS parking. Park in any of these spots.

From the East

1. Take I-88, NYS 17, I-84, I-80/I-380, or I-81 to Binghamton.

2. From Binghamton, take I-81 north to exit 8 at Whitney Point onto NYS 79 west.

3. Continue on NYS 79 west for approximately 28 miles toward Ithaca.

4. At the sign for Cornell University, turn right onto Pine Tree Road (Tompkins County Route 174). Continue straight on Pine Tree Road (across the intersection with Ellis Hollow Road and past the shopping center on the right) until it ends at a blinking light at NYS 366.

5. Turn right onto NYS 366.

6. Turn left on Judd Falls Rd. and continue on Judd Falls Rd. until the end.

7. Turn left onto Forest Home Rd. and continue for .5 miles.

8. The Forest Home Garage will be on your left. You will see on your immediate left 4 parking spots reserved for HEHS parking. Park in any of these spots.

9. To right of the HEHS parking spots you will find a set of elevators. Take one of these elevators to the “T” Level.

10. Exit the elevator to the left and follow the hallway until you reach the MVR Commons (a large open space with scattered furniture).

11. Cross through the Commons and exit this area through the doorway to the left of the wall of televisions. You will now be in the West wing of MVR Hall.

12. Take the elevator to your right (just beyond the stairs) to the 2nd Floor. This elevator will bring you into the HMRU.

From the West

1. Take the NYS Thruway (I-90) east to exit 41/NYS Rte 414.

2. Take NYS Rte 414 south for 1 mile to NYS Rte 318.

3. Take NYS Rte 318 east for 5 miles to NYS Rte 89.

4. Take NYS Rte 89 south to Ithaca.

5. Turn right onto NYS Rte 13 south (Fulton Street). Get into the far left-hand lane and continue straight for two traffic lights. The left lane will end and you must turn left onto NYS Rte 79 (Green Street).

6. Continue on Green Street about 7 blocks. Stay to the right as Green Street intersects with East State Street; continue up the hill on East State Street.

7. At the traffic light near the top of the hill, stay in the right lane and continue up the hill (the left lane turns left).

8. At the intersection with NYS 366, turn left onto NYS 366 toward Cornell University.

9. Continue on NYS 366 until you reach Judd Falls Rd.

10. Turn left on Judd Falls Rd. and continue on Judd Falls Rd. until the end.
