So-Yeon Yoon
So-Yeon Yoon is a Professor of Design and Environmental Analysis and the director of Design-User Experience-Technology (DUET) Research Lab at the College of Human Ecology, Cornell University. She is currently the president of the Design Communication Association.
She practiced interior design and architecture in Korea and the U.S. With her education and industry experience in design with digital media, she taught the School of Design at the University of Ulsan in Korea and worked with industry

Emily (Qingyue) Sun is an M.S. student in Nutrition Science. Her research explores how fasting affects adipose tissue aging and the underlying sex-specific differences. She aims to uncover how age-related changes in fat cell function influence systemic energy balance and metabolic health.
Yuke Xie
Yuke is a second-year PhD student in Human Nutrition. She earned a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and completed her M.S. in Human Nutrition at the Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia University. After completing her dietetic internship at the UC Davis Medical Center, she became a Registered Dietitian. Yuan (Karina) Zhang
Karina is a Ph.D. student in Human Nutrition, working with Dr. Kimberly O'Brien. She earned her B.Sc. in Dietetics from McGill University and obtained her Registered Dietitian license in Canada. After completing one year of clinical practice, her strong interest in nutrition and preventative care led her to pursue a thesis-based M.Sc. in Human Nutrition, where she got inspired by the influential role of the gut microbiota in health. Yifan Jia
Yifan Jia is an M.S. student in Nutrition completing the combined Dietetic Internship program. Originally from Beijing, China, she earned dual degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics and Global Health, along with a certificate in Entrepreneurship, from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Yukun Wu
Yukun Wu is a Master's student focusing on molecular nutrition working with Dr. Sander Kersten. His research interests are exploring the factors triggering lipolysis and lipid oxidation while maintaining redox balance. Yukun earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition at the University of California, Davis. He gained knowledge in medical nutrition therapy, and hope to integrate his research interests with obesity management in the future.
Yoyo You
I’m a first-year master’s student in the Dietetic concentration, working in the Aydemir Lab to study how zinc and its transporters regulate intestinal function and metabolic processes. My research interests include gut–adipocyte crosstalk and the role of zinc and zinc transporters in glucose and lipid metabolism. I earned my B.S. in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, where I developed a strong foundation in clinical dietetics and nutrition support.
