Biography
Climate change related weather events increasingly threaten our homes and surrounding environments, placing significant stress on human health and well-being. My research focuses on how environmental systems in urban schools and neighborhoods can mitigate severe weather events to enhance human health and behavior. Through spatial modeling and land surveying methods, I develop sustainable site and landscape strategies that promote human outcomes. My goal is to provide targeted policy recommendations that benefit stakeholders in education, public health, and urban planning.
