Biography
Zhuoheng is a PhD candidate in molecular nutrition working with Dr. Nathaniel Vacanti. Prior to his doctoral work at Cornell University, he received degrees from the Tufts University and the University of Califronia, Davis. Throughout the years, he gained experiences in growing tomatoes in the greenhouse, conducting consumer and sensory studies, performing wet lab experiments and drawing insights from large omics datasets.
My research includes developing the Breast Cancer Proteome Portal that collectively visualizes protein and transcript abundance relationships in the three major clinical breast cancer proteomics studies. Currently, I am developing a machine-learning model that predicts protein subcellular localization using protein and transcript abundance data.
