Sumit Gawali
Sumit Gawali is a designer and researcher working at the intersection of human-centered design, technology, and the built environment. His work examines how people perceive, navigate, and interact with physical and digital environments, with particular attention to agency, inclusion, and access. Drawing on a background spanning architecture, urban design, HCI, and product design, he is interested in combining design research, behavioral inquiry, sensing, and computational approaches to develop more responsive and equitable environments. Yukun Wu
Yukun Wu is an M.S. student in Nutrition at Cornell University, working with Dr. Sander Kersten. He earned his B.S. in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California, Davis. Yukun’s research interests focus on nutrient metabolism and metabolic adaptation, especially how dietary protein shapes tissue-specific responses to fasting and refeeding. His current work combines animal models and transcriptomic analyses to investigate the molecular pathways that coordinate these metabolic responses.
