Meet the Cornell Human Ecology Class of 2029
We are excited to welcome 242 new undergraduate students this fall. Coming from California to New Jersey, Pennsylvania to Arizona, Michigan to New York, they bring with them passions for health, human development, design, fashion and more. They're all united by a desire to make a positive impact on people and communities.

For Kim ’09, design is about the journey
When the refurbished 68th Street Hunter College subway station reopened on Manhattan’s Upper East Side earlier this year, commuters were greeted by three vibrant mosaics.
In decorating the station, the MTA looked to the work of oil painter Lisa Corinne Davis to celebrate the neighborhood’s diversity and opportunities. Design students tour firms and network in NYC
An immersive journey to a forest canopy in a one-of-a-kind virtual reality space was just one of the memorable moments for the 19 students majoring in design and environmental analysis (DEA) on their visit to Manhattan last month.
