I design culturally relevant interventions, in partnership with community stakeholders, that aim to improve diet, health, and overall wellbeing of adolescents that reside in urban communities. I am deeply committed to conducting research that informs public health programming and policy. As such, the majority of my research studies have a clearly identified plan for translation from the very beginning.

Navika Gangrade, Ph.D., RDN, is a lecturer at the Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research. In addition to teaching various classes, she is responsible for overseeing the Cornell Human Ecology in New York City summer internship program.

Prior to joining Cornell, Dr. Gangrade was a visiting assistant professor in the Nutrition Program at New York University, Department of Nutrition and Food Studies. She earned her Ph.D. in nutrition and registered dietitian credentials (RDN) from Cornell University

Jay (JungKyoon) Yoon is an associate professor in the Department of Human Centered Design at Cornell University, where he leads the Meta Design & Technology Lab.
