Rana Zadeh, M.Arch., Ph.D., EDAC, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human-Centered Design, College of Human Ecology, and a Field Member in Systems Engineering, School of Engineering. Dr Zadeh is a member of the Internal Advisory Committee for Cornell Public Health (CPH), and the Einhorn Center for Community Engagement, and an Affiliate Faculty Fellow for Cornell Health Policy Center (CHPC) and Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability.

Susan P. Ashdown, Emerita Professor, joined the College of Human Ecology faculty in 1991 on completion of her Ph.D research at the University of Minnesota on the topic of perception of apparel fit. Previous to this she completed her MA degree in functional apparel design at Cornell. My work can be best described as comparative cognitive neuroscience, which is characterized by two related approaches. One is a cross-species approach, comparing rat models of the neurochemistry of attention and learning to humans, focusing on the neurochemical acetylcholine. The other is an across the lifespan approach, examining the cholinergic hypothesis of age-related changes in cognition.
We use activity mapping from fMRI data to provide theoretical models that can then be more fully tested
