Dr. Mehta is a physician with training and expertise in nutrition, epidemiology, infectious disease, and diagnostics. He is currently the Janet and Gordon Lankton Professor in the Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University and serves on its executive leadership team. He is also the Founding Director of the Cornell Joan Klein Jacobs Center for Precision Nutrition and Health and co-director of the NIH-funded Center for Point of Care Diagnostics for Nutrition, Infection, and Cancer

She received her B.S. in Psychology from Yale University where she began her research career investigating weight management, bias, and stigma. Qi Wang is the Joan K. and Irwin M. Jacobs Professor of Human Development in the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University. She holds a BSc in Psychology from Peking University, China, and a PhD in Psychology from Harvard University. She directs the Culture & Cognition Lab. Wang's research examines the mechanisms underlying the development of a variety of cognitive and social-cognitive skills in the context of culture, focusing particularly on autobiographical memory and future cognition

David E. Sahn is an International Professor of Economics in the Division of Nutritional Sciences and the Department of Economics. Since 2015, he has been a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, Germany. In 2017, he became a Senior Fellow at the Fondation for International Development Study and Research (FERDI) in Clermont-Ferrand, France. From 2011–2015, he was Chaire d’Excellence at Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches sur le Développement International
