Paige Tomfohrde (she/her) is a multiracial diasporic settler of color living on and learning from the lands of the Gayogohó:nǫˀ people. She is a PhD candidate in Fiber Science and Apparel Design at Cornell University. Professor Emerita Marie Caudill is internationally recognized for her research on folate and choline nutrition, particularly the intake levels needed to support optimal metabolism and maternal and fetal health during pregnancy. Her work has combined randomized controlled feeding trials with targeted and untargeted analyses of genomic, epigenetic, metabolic, and nutritional outcomes to better understand nutrient requirements and function.
