Research Associate in Fiber Science. My research focuses on the remediation and environmental fate of pollutants, and the analysis and degradation study of dyes on textile and archaeological samples. I also cooperate with other faculty on the projects of fabric evaluation, textile test and biodegradation. Teaching and training are my other duties. Currently teaching Fiber Chemistry class and training TAs for other Fiber Science classes. 

Why should dress-up be restricted to special occasions?  Reflecting on my own childhood, I realized that at some point, I stopped dressing for myself and started dressing for others, whether it was what my mother dressed me in or what was trendy at the time. This collection embodies the childlike wonder of going out in extravagant princess gowns and having fairy tea parties with your friends. Everyone deserves to feel like a fairy princess.

In this presentation, an introduction to biopolymer electrospinning process, as well as an overview of applications of nanofibrous biopolymer mats and their composites created by both a traditional and modified electrospinning process will be discussed. Electrospinning is a fabrication technique, which can be used to create nanofibrous non-wovens from a variety of starting polymer materials. The structure, chemical and mechanical stability, functionality, and other properties of the mats can be modified to match end applications
