Nok In Chan (Felicia)
Felicia Chan is an M.S. student in the Nutrition + Dietetics track. She earned dual degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics and in Nutrition, Fitness, and Health, with a minor in Music, from Purdue University in 2025. During her undergraduate studies, Felicia worked as a Nutrition Coach, providing clients with guidance on goal setting and sustainable lifestyle changes. Ruihan Xu
Ruihan is a Ph.D. candidate in Dr. Kimberly O’Brien’s lab. She obtained her BA in Food System Nutrition and Health at the University of Washington-Seattle. Her MPH degree in Nutrition and Dietetics was completed at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She was also trained in the MRT-TI international lactation consultant training program during her second year of MPH. Rujia Xie (she/her) is a second-year PhD student in Nutrition with minors in Demography and City and Regional Planning. Working in Dr. Laura Bellows’s lab, Rujia’s research interest lies at the intersection of health behaviors, built environments, safety net programs, and social equity. Kristen Carter Elmore
Kristen is the Director for the Program for Research on Youth Development and Engagement in the BCTR, associate director of the BCTR, and the Community-Engaged Learning Coordinator for Cornell Human Ecology. Her work focuses on applied research and teaching that connects researchers, undergraduate students, and community partners, with a particular focus on partnerships that support educators in helping youth from all backgrounds succeed and thrive.
