Deb began her career at Cornell University in 2000 working for the Associate Director for Cornell Cooperative Extension. In 2006 she joined the Human Resources staff for the College of Human Ecology. After working for a few short years in that field,  Deb discovered the exciting world of Alumni Affairs & Development (AAD) in 2008 and never looked back!

Deb is now a Program Assistant for the College of Human Ecology's AAD team supporting all functions of alumni engagement, including

Deborah Sellers serves as the Director of Research and Evaluation for the Residential Child Care Project (RCCP) in the Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research (BCTR).  In this position she facilitates research and evaluation activities in RCCP by identifying new avenues for research, supporting the development of new proposals, monitoring and/or assisting with data collection, processing, and analyses, and writing manuscripts for publication. Dr. Sellers also oversees the data collection efforts associated with the implementation of RCCP's Children

Academic Expertise
My area of expertise is organizational ecology; that is, I study the way in which the planning, design, and management of  complex facilities such as hospitals and large corporations and R&D units affect how individuals, teams, and organizations function.

Current Professional Activities
Professor Becker is a founding editor of the Journal of Corporate Real Estate and the Journal of Facilities Management, and is on the Advisory Board of the Health Environments Research and Design Journal and

I am Manager of the Human Nutritional Chemistry Service Laboratory (HNCSL) located in room 251 in the Human Ecology Building.  This lab includes an IMMULITE 2000 Immunoassay system, a Magpix Multiplex Analyzer System, Dimension Xpand Plus Integrated Chemistry System, Synergy II Plate Reader and Plate Washer. Hematology equipment includes a Beckman Coulter AcTDiff2 hematology analyzer. Chromatographic equipment includes an Acquity UPC2 convergence chromatographic system with photodiode array detector, a Thermo LC/MS/MS with a TSQ Quantum Ultra mass

Juan Pablo Peña-Rosas is a professor fellow at the Joan Klein Jacobs Center for Precision Nutrition and Health at Cornell Human Ecology. He previously worked as Head, Global Health Initiatives (cross-cutting) team, Office of the Director, Department of Nutrition and Food Safety, Division of Healthier Populations (HEP) and served senior-level positions at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva since he joined in July 2008.
