Samiha Azgar is a PhD Candidate in the Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University, where she conducts human clinical research under the mentorship of Dr. Marla Lujan in the Cornell Ovary Lab. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Biochemistry from Hofstra University.

Elaine Sha, MPH, RD, IBCLC, is a Ph.D. student in Human Nutrition working with Dr. Yarden Golan Maor. Her research focuses on identifying the psychosocial, physiological, and pharmacological factors that influence human milk production and composition. After completing her Registered Dietitian and Pathway 2 Lactation Consultant training during her master’s program at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Elaine spent three years as an adult and pediatric clinical dietitian, an experience that shaped
