Joy Kim is a Ph.D. student in Human Nutrition working in Dr. Marla Lujan's lab. She earned a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University and went on to complete a dietetic internship at the NIH Clinical Center, concentrating in clinical nutrition research. After earning her registered dietitian (RD) credential, she worked as a Research Associate at Texas A&M University in the Vanden Brink Lab, where she studied the role of nutrition and metabolic health

Lisa is a former professional ballet dancer who earned her Bsc. in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, summa cum laude. While there, she engaged in the research and public health communities of New York City-- she spent time working in an eating disorder research unit at Columbia University, as well as working on nutrition education initiatives and harm reduction strategies for formerly homeless new yorkers living with HIV. I received my B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University in 1991 and completed a dietetic internship at Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 1992. I started my clinical career practicing as a registered dietitian focusing on the nutritional care of oncology, general medicine, and geriatric patient populations in the acute and long-term care settings. Shu-Bing Qian
Dr. Qian is the James Jamison Professor in the Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University. Professor Qian received PhD degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University Medical School (formerly Shanghai Second Medical University), majoring in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry. He then conducted two postdoctoral fellowships at the National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, MD) and University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, NC).
