Deb began her career at Cornell University in 2000 working for the Associate Director for Cornell Cooperative Extension. In 2006 she joined the Human Resources staff for the College of Human Ecology. After working for a few short years in that field, Deb discovered the exciting world of Alumni Affairs & Development (AAD) in 2008 and never looked back!

Yuan (Karina) Zhang
Karina is a Ph.D. student in Human Nutrition, working with Dr. Kimberly O'Brien. She earned her B.Sc. in Dietetics from McGill University and obtained her Registered Dietitian license in Canada. After completing one year of clinical practice, her strong interest in nutrition and preventative care led her to pursue a thesis-based M.Sc. in Human Nutrition, where she got inspired by the influential role of the gut microbiota in health. Yuke Xie
Yuke is a second-year PhD student in Human Nutrition. She earned a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and completed her M.S. in Human Nutrition at the Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia University. After completing her dietetic internship at the UC Davis Medical Center, she became a Registered Dietitian. She is currently working in Dr. Kimberly O’Brien’s lab, where her research focuses on vitamin D

Joy Yuri Kim
Joy Kim is a Ph.D. student in Human Nutrition working in Dr. Marla Lujan's lab. She earned a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University and went on to complete a dietetic internship at the NIH Clinical Center, concentrating in clinical nutrition research. After earning her registered dietitian (RD) credential, she worked as a Research Associate at Texas A&M University in the Vanden Brink Lab, where she studied the role of nutrition and metabolic health
