Felicia Chan is an M.S. student in the Nutrition + Dietetics track. She earned dual degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics and in Nutrition, Fitness, and Health, with a minor in Music, from Purdue University in 2025. During her undergraduate studies, Felicia worked as a Nutrition Coach, providing clients with guidance on goal setting and sustainable lifestyle changes. She also gained experience in clinical research and scientific writing as a Laboratory Technician. At Cornell, Felicia works with Dr. Joeva Barrow to investigate how nutrient sequencing influences obesity and metabolic health. Building on this foundation, she hopes to translate research findings into practical strategies for enhancing performance and recovery in athletes. Her passion for sports nutrition drives her goal of working with professional athletes after graduation.

Felicia's research aims to assess how nutrient sequencing, which is changing the order in which food is consumed in a meal, affects postprandial glycemic responses.
