Jiaqi a Ph.D. student in molecular nutrition, working with Dr. Yuhan Wang. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and subsequently completed an M.S. in Human Nutrition at Columbia University. For the past 1.5 years, she has worked as a senior technician at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her research investigates the molecular mechanisms through which nutrients and foods influence the body, brain, and metabolic systems. Outside the lab, Jiaqi is committed to community education through her involvement with CHIFAN, a nonprofit organization that promotes healthy eating habits among Chinese Americans. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, playing the saxophone, and practicing Chinese calligraphy.
