Jada Vyphuis is an M.S. student in Nutrition completing the combined Dietetic Internship program under the guidance of Dr. Angela Odoms-Young. She earned her B.S. in Nutritional Sciences with a minor in Human Development from Cornell University. Originally from the Bronx, NY, Jada’s research interests were shaped by her experience as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar, where she examined the intersections of food justice, culturally relevant dietary interventions, and the role of structural inequities in shaping nutrition and chronic disease outcomes. Her long-term goal is to become a registered dietitian dedicated to improving nutrition education in underserved communities and to eventually pursue a Ph.D. to advance equitable nutrition practice in community settings.
