Arwa Al Mughairi

Arwa Al Mughairi is an M.S. student in Nutrition at Cornell University, working with Dr. Kimberly O’Brien. She earned her B.S. in Human Nutrition from Sultan Qaboos University in Oman. Prior to beginning her graduate studies, Arwa completed clinical nutrition training across several hospitals and spent a year as a Demonstrator in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at Sultan Qaboos University, where she contributed to undergraduate teaching, research, and departmental activities. Her interests center on public health nutrition, particularly understanding how dietary behaviors and nutrition-related factors influence health across populations. She is interested in research that can inform effective nutrition interventions, education, and strategies to improve population health. Through her graduate training, Arwa aims to strengthen her research skills and prepare for a career in academia and nutrition research.
