Ancient Worlds in Modern Threads explores how ancient silhouettes, patterns, and ideals of beauty travel across materials, bodies, and time, continually reinterpreted through fashion. Bringing historic garments into conversation with ancient art and objects, the exhibition considers how designers translate the visual language of Greece, Rome, and Egypt through design, material, and the relationship between clothing and the body. Interactive elements, including tactile material studies, 3D reconstructions, and digital experiences, invite visitors to look beyond the vitrine and explore the material and bodily qualities of fashion, even when historic garments remain out of reach.
