Megan Birmingham collaborated with Dr. Reyna on a presentation that was accepted for the 2022 Association for Psychological Science Annual Convention. Her presentation was featured in the "Up-and-Coming Voices" section of the APS Observer, a publication of the Association for Psychological Science.

Sharjeel Chaudhry and Emily Lopes were featured in a Cornell Chronicle article that covered a current project of the College of Human Ecology student group, Pre-professional Association Toward Careers in Health (PATCH).  Members of PATCH received grant from Humanity First, a disaster relief organization, to assemble science kits that will be sent to fourth- and fifth-grade children in Haiti. Regina Myers is the 2008 winner of the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Academic Excellence and the Human Development Outstanding Senior Award.

Jessica DeMarinis is the 2008 winner of the Urie Bronfenbrenner Memorial Award for Achievement in Research.


Stacey Elliott, Human Development Senior, was awarded the Cornell Tradition Senior Recognition Award and honorable mention for the Zuckerman Award for Excellence in Human Development.

2006-2007

Steven Estrada, Human Development graduate student, was awarded the Provost Diversity Fellowship.

Wanda Casillas, incoming Human Development Graduate Student, was awarded the University's Diversity Fellowship.

Janine Stanisz has won the prestigious Zuckerman Award for the best undergraduate honors thesis entitled "Juvenile Offenders' Risky Decision Making Behavior;" Valerie Reyna is her thesis advisor and Steven Estrada is her team leader.

Susan Rivers, PhD (Yale University), Postdoctoral Fellow, has been awarded a fellowship to attend the 2007 John Merck Fund Summer Institute on the Biology of Developmental Disabilities at Cornell University.

Regina Myers was awarded a Marjorie A Corwin Fellowship for Summer Undergraduate Research. It comes with a stipend to conduct research for an independent project (which will be her honor's thesis) in conjunction with a research advisor (Dr. Reyna).
