I am a PhD Candidate in Human Nutrition at Cornell, where I research the impact of different types of self-monitoring (physical activity, diet), focusing on self-weighing, on weight.

My core areas of interest are 1) social and cultural theories of behavior, 2) the role of digital trackers in weight gain prevention, 3) how personal information from these trackers is organized, evaluated, and presented, and 4) measure how this actually changes behavior.

I am a Registered Dietitian and have worked at The Children's Hospital Colorado and New York Presbyterian. I have a Masters of Arts in Anthropology.

I enjoy music, yoga, pop culture, traveling, anything furry and discovering new food. Follow me on twitter @LuaWilkinson
